Embracing the Eucalpyt (2023)








Emeritus Professor Lesley Duxbury and Dr Ruth Johnstone work and live amongst eucalypts. Lesley Duxbury documents and celebrates towering forest redgum survivors in Briagolong and environs, while Ruth Johnstone, whose studio in the north-east highlands of Victoria is enveloped by native forest, commemorates the scars of logging and bushfires with leafy garlands and circular motifs.
